The circulation of the Mass. Bay/Cape Cod Bay system and its evolution during the August-October time period has been analyzed at Harvard. The circulation features and what has taken place to create them are described below. The evolution of these features and the relationship of wind events to that evolution is presented in a sequence of circulation schematics.
